Q: I'm not open for business yet, but I plan on being open in five or six months. Should I be getting a web site right now?
A: YES! YES! YES!  It can take from six to twelve weeks for a new site to propagate into search engines on the web, so the sooner, the better!

Q: How long will it take to complete my web site?
A: Our turn around time averages a month from receipt of the deposit. It could be less, it could be more, depending on what you want. We know that your site is always time-sensitive, especially if this is a new build/new business site.

REMEMBER! Creating a brand new website not only requires time from the designer and developer, but from the client as well. We will be working with you every step of the way. So, depending on you, the project can finish quickly or not so quickly. If you have time constraints regarding a grand opening or the start of a high season, it is best to get a web site done BEFORE these deadlines. 

Q: How does the design process work and what can I expect?

A: There are many, many steps. We aren't a mill churning out web sites, where you send us pictures and we give you a hum-drum, junior high-looking design. It goes down like this:

·  We'll email you a simple form asking you a few questions about how you visualize your new web site and your general market. Fill out the project order form, and be sure to include ALL details.
·  After we receive your order, we'll send you over an official quote, and a copy of our terms and conditions. You can expect this paperwork back within 5 business days.

·  After these two steps, the terms and conditions are in effect. A 50% deposit for the first part of the work must be made within 10 days via Paypal. No work will begin until we receive your deposit and it is confirmed.

·  After payment is received, we'll being creating your site. Once you receive the first draft of your site's design PLEASE list the exact changes you want.
·  After you approve the final graphical draft, HTML coding will begin. Your design will be tested on one of our test servers. A total of 10 (ten) textual/coded changes may be made after the final, coded draft is created. Any draft work past this will incur the hourly fee that was agreed upon in the terms.
·  The balance of the payment is due now! You may also opt to send this in advance. We will not upload the website to your servers until we receive the second payment, so feel free to send it in advance!

·  Launch time! The designer will request at this time your web hosting login information and FTP/control panel information. Not sure if your host meets the requirements? Please ask us! We can take care of your hosting needs, too.
·  Once the site is completed and published to the web, its content and art is yours to keep. We'll offer basic technical support for your new site and error corrections to total no more than 1 hour as per the pre-agreed terms.

Q: Can I meet you or call you to talk about my new web site?

A: We keep a constant email dialog going with our clients during the entire pre-design process to ensure that your questions and concerns are understood. Once we get the design process going and receive the deposit we will call you and discuss your business to create your specialized marketing and advertising strategy. If you want us to visit your property, that will be agreed upon in the work terms beforehand.

Q: My web site launched a while back, but now something is broken, AND I want to change out a picture or add some text. Can you help?

A: We will work for a total of 1 hour of service for you after the web site has been launched to fix any glitches, introduce you to the web site, and to give you a primer in search engine marketing. Any new problems or requests resulting after this will incur our pre-agreed upon design fee, and will then be processed and placed in our queue of work.

Q: Why is your pricing by quote only?

A: Every site we create is unique based upon your market and your property. Therefore, we can't set a price. We want to ensure that we meet all of your needs -- at the price that is fair for you, and for our specialized talents. We do have several site and page options based on how far your marketing budget can go, from a simple three-page site to a total marketing campaign with print media and ad buys. 

Q: I sent my payment, when do you start?

A: You will be notified as soon as we receive your cleared payment, and then work may begin, usually within three to five (3-5) business days.
